What a sourcing partner actually does
Textile manufacturing is spread across specialists — a spinner for yarn, a weaver or knitter for fabric, a separate dye house for colour and finish, and a cut-and-sew unit for the finished piece. Few of them sit under one roof, and few brands have the time to vet, spec and manage each link themselves.
That gap is where a sourcing partner works: understanding a requirement in its own technical language — yarn count and twist, GSM and weave construction, thread count, colourfastness, seam and abrasion standards — and matching it to the supplier actually equipped to deliver it, at a volume and price point that make sense.
How Rubatex works
We were established in 2002 as a service provider and sourcing solutions partner in the yarn industry, and the offer has widened since to cover greige fabric, dyed and finished goods, apparel, home linen and furniture textiles. What hasn't changed is the way we work: a named contact who understands the spec, a network built on relationships rather than one-off transactions, and involvement that continues through to delivery.

Cotton, cotton-blend, modal, linen and wool-blend yarns spun for weaving and hosiery alike, sourced against the count, twist and evenness a mill actually needs — not just what's in stock.
Greige Fabric
Grey and finished fabric across weave constructions — narrow-width for fashion and workwear, wider goods for home textiles — with the mill relationships to hold width, weight and hand consistent order to order.
Dyed & Finished
Colour matched to lab-dip and held through bulk, with the finishing — brushing, sanforising, coating — that turns grey fabric into something a cutting room can trust.
Apparel
T-shirts, shirts, hoodies, jeans, trousers and overalls — casual blanks and print-ready styles for fashion labels, and durable cut for workwear and uniform programmes.
Home Linen
Bedding and home furnishing, bath and kitchen textiles, and institutional programmes for hospitality — cotton, polyester, Tencel, bamboo and Egyptian cotton, built to a stated thread count and held there.
Furniture
Upholstery and furnishing fabrics sourced to the abrasion, seam and flammability standards furniture makers are held to — the last stop on the chain we started at the yarn.
